I used to say that I love living inthe city. The hustle and bustle, the diversity, the endlessoptions for entertainment... Butlately, I've been thinking aboutmoving to the countryside.
So, Lisa, where do you prefer tolive? In the city or in the country?
Well, Sophie, I guess there aresome advantages to living in acity, like the ones I mentionedbefore. But there are also manydisadvantages - pollution, noise,overcrowding... And sometimesI just feel overwhelmed by it all.
Really? Why is that?
It's much quieter, less polluted, and more peaceful overall. Plus, you get to be closer to nature.
I can definitely see your point. Livingin the countryside does have its ownadvantages.
Exactly. And regardless of whereyou live, there will always be prosand cons. It's just about findingthe right balance for yourself.
That's true. And at least nowadayswith technology, we can stillaccess a lot of things even if we'renot physically living in a big city.
For me, it would probably be thelack of cultural events andopportunities compared to livingin a city. But I think it'ssomething I could live without.
Yes, that sounds really nice. Whatdo you think would be thebiggest disadvantage of living inthe countryside though?
1. Lisa has never thought of moving tothe countryside.
5. Lisa could live without lots of culturalevents and opportunities.
3. Lisa likes the hustle and bustle of thecity.
2. Lisa is tired of the pollution andovercrowding.
4. Sophie doesn’t agree that living in thecountryside has its own advantages.
