My favorite musical instrument is the violin. I think it has a lovely, emotional sound. When I was a little boy, my father tried (teach) me how (play) the violin. Although I was really interested, I failed (play) it well. I always made a lot of noise when I played the violin. In the end, it was more than my father could (bear). He thought I didn't have any talent for music. I was also tired of (practice) a single note day after day. We both gave up. My dream of (play) music ended there. Now when I listen to beautiful violin music, I only wish I had insisted on (learn) to play it.
