There are a lot of animals on our planet. They live in different parts of the world, in water and on land. The easiest way to see wild animals is to go to the zoo.
Last Saturday, Oleg and his family went to the Moscow Zoo. The day was warm and sunny. So, most animals were outside: they ran and played in the sun. Oleg saw giraffes, monkeys, elephants and polar bears. But he liked the crocodiles most of all!
Crocodiles usually live in the jungle. They can be large and small. Crocodiles have got a long body, four short legs and a long tail. They’ve got a big mouth, too! They eat meat and fish. They usually live for 70 years.
A crocodile is one of the scariest animals in the jungle. Crocodiles can walk fast and they are very good swimmers, too! On hot days, crocodiles keep their mouths open. This is how they get cool!
